Bought MacuSafe because of mild age-related macular degeneration.  Cannot rate until Doc rechecks eyes in 4-6 months.  

Would like to know if MacuSafe was used in any clinical research for AMD and why supplement is in powder form (in capsules) rather than oil-based form (in gel-cap).
